GigiGigi Guiting
went on her first trip to Japan as a participant on a Pop Japan Travel tour in 2004. Soon after (because they liked her so much =D) she was employed part-time for Digital Manga, the parent company of Pop Japan Travel. Now, 6 years later, after studying Japanese and Studio Art in college, she’s helping others realize their anime/manga dreams of going to Japan.

Notes: Very short (under 5 feet), good at weaving through people and herding group tours.

Likes: One Piece, Yotsubato!, Nodame Cantabile, Zettai Kareshi (j-dorama), Hana Yori Dango, Ueno Juri, Hiro Mizushima, Toma Ikuta, Osamu Mukai, Disneyland, Chocolate, Warm Milk Tea, Melon Pan, Shiozake Onigiri, Miso Ramen, Cool people.

Dislikes: Vegetables, Raw fish, Natto, Evan teehee

Evan encounters a Hello Kitty panda. Yeah, you'd be scared too.Evan Miller is thrilled to be the newest member of the PJT team! Originally from Minnesota, he has organized tours in Japan for eight years, leading tours in the Tohoku, Kansai, and Kanto regions for his previous employers. He writes the Anime News Network column The Gallery, which showcases up-and-coming manga artists from outside Japan, as well as other articles about Japanese culture and anime fandom.

When he’s not organizing tours, Evan passes the time by writing, listening to music, cycling, eating melon pan, drinking milk tea and coffee, acting weird, longing for the day that LA has the kind of mass transit system that Tokyo does, and getting teased mercilessly by Gigi.
