In addition, we will watch “20th Century Boys,” an amazing looking movie based on the manga of the same name.
Take part in a traditional Setsubun Festival in the historic town of Kamakura. Throw beans to your hearts content while saying goodbye to winter, check out one of the oldest Daibutsu (Big Buddha) statues in the world, plus all the temples and shrines you can handle in this “Kyoto of Kanto.”
Then we will fly to Sapporo for the most extravagant snow sculpture show on the planet. From life-size replicas of dinosaurs, to ancient castles and a massive field of snowmen, this is one snow sculpture event you do not want to miss.
Finally, cap it all off with a relaxing night in the quiet town of Narita. Get lost on its quaint streets lined with traditional Japanese shops, bars, and restaurants, while shopping for those last-minute souvenirs you forgot to buy your friends and family back home!
