Oreimo/togainu no chi Contest Launched!

November 17, 2010

The cat is officially out of the bag: we’ve launched a promotion with Anime News Network and Aniplex of America to give away two – yes, TWO – free tours in 2011. Why? Because we’re nice, that’s why. Ready for more details? Then read on…

One of the things we spend a lot of time on here at PJT is coming up with new tours; changing destinations, going weird places we’ve never been before… you get the idea. However, we’re always looking for ways to improve the tours we already have – and  get more awesome people to come along with us for the ride. Which is why when we started talking with ANN and Aniplex about launching a contest to help promote the simulcasts of Oreimo and togainu no chi, we were all for it! Besides, we’ve got studio visits, manga artists meetings, and a whole lot more planned for the coming year, so we want to show off a bit. ^_^

The contest details:

Watch Oreimo on Anime News Network, and you’ll learn how you can win a free trip on the Tokyo Anime Fair Tour.

Watch togainu no chi ~Bloody Curs~ on Anime News Network, and you’ll learn how you can win a free trip on the Fangirl Paradise Tour.

ANN has a general info/rules and regulations page about both contests here.

For those of you who aren’t participating in the contest, we have good news: we’re going to make it easy for you to join these tours if you want. Apologies to people following the blog as they’ve heard about this already, but:

Last week, we launched a Monthly Payment Plan for both the TAF and Fangirl Paradise Tours. These programs let you pay for your tour over time, in the increments you prefer, from now until the time the tour departs. We know that a trip to Japan is expensive – so if you like to pinch pennies and aren’t sure you could pay for an entire tour in one go, sign up for the plan and you’ll be on your way!

The plan details are here!

As always, if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to drop us a line:  go at popjapantravel dot com.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go watch some togainu no chi. Post-apocalyptic pretty boy gangsters = fun.  ^_^
