Together, we will stay in Tokyo where we will visit the coolest places in the land, from Akihabara to Nakano, Harajuku to Shibuya, Roppongi to Ginza, and so much more! Then, we will visit the original daibutsu (Big Buddha) in Kamakura and enjoy the traditional Setsubun festival. Finally, we will visit Sapporo* for the most famous snow festival in the world. Never seen Japanese castles or Pikachu made out of snow? Well now you can at the Sapporo Yuki Matsuri!

 | | Day: 2 | 1/31/09 | | Arrive in Japan! | | You're here! Get ready for the trip of a lifetime! | | Board the bus and meet your new artsy buddies on the way to the hippest city in the world! We will be staying at the luxurious, 4-star Shinagawa Prince Hotel.

| Day: 3 | 2/1/09 | | Experience the rapidly beating heart of Tokyo! | | Shopping, exploring, eating, drinking, anime and manga, gaming, it's all here. | | Today we will take the grand tour of the heart of Tokyo. Beginning in Kichijoji, we will visit the Ghibli Museum, the amazing home of Miyazaki's unforgettable characters from Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke, and more.
Next we will visit the Meccha of all things anime, manga, gaming and electronics- Akihabara! Bring your wallets, because the number of 10-storied shops packed with otaku goodness is ENDLESS!
We will continue onto Nakano Broadway, another major depot for all things Japanese Pop.
Finish the day in the uber-trendy area of Harajuku and the insanely fast-paced Shibuya!

| Day: 4 | 2/2/09 | | Meet and Greet! | | Meet a respected manga creator and see an unforgettable stage show! | Find yourself face-to-face with one of the most famous manga author's in the industry in a private meeting brought to you exclusively by Pop Japan Travel.
Then, take on the nightlife epicenter of Roppongi. Here, we will visit Kingyo, an optional excursion, perhaps best described as a cross between Cirque Du Soleil and Rocky Horror Picture Show! Imagine the possibilities!

| Day: 5 | 2/3/09 | | Kamakura Setsubun! | | Traditional Japan comes alive! | | Visit the "Kyoto of Kanto" in Kamakura! This historic town features the 700+ year-old Daibutsu, or Big Buddha statue. And don't forget the region's famous purple potato ice cream. Yum!
Then take part in Setsubun, a traditional festival celebrating the end of winter. Throw beans all over the place for good luck and bond with the locals!
And finally, finish your day sightseeing in Enoshima, the coastal town famous for some of the freshest seafood in Japan.

| Day: 6 | 2/4/09 | | Should I stay or should I go? | | For those not continuing to Sapporo, this is the final day. Say goodbye to your new-found travel buddies, because it's time to go home. For everyone else, let's go to the most amazing snow sculpture festival in the world!
| | Option- Hello Sapporo! | | In the morning, we will fly from Haneda Airport to Hokkaido, the northern-most part of Japan. Arriving in Sapporo, the capitol city, at 10:00AM, you will have the rest of the day free to explore this vibrant city.

| Day: 7 | 2/5/09 | | Yuki Matsuri! | | Snow festival! | | Enjoy the day at your own leisure, staring in awe at the unbelievable (and huge) snow sculptures.

| Day: 8 | 2/6/09 | | Winding down. | | Relax in Narita. | | Today we leave Sapporo for our one-night stay in Narita. Though Narita is known for being Japan's busiest hub thanks to its international airport, there's also a great temple and some traditional narrow shopping streets for a taste of ancient Japan....Oh yeah, and a Hard Rock Cafe.

| Day: 9 | 2/7/09 | | Sayonara Japan!! | | We're comin' to America! | | Leave Japan from Narita International Airport. It's time to go home.
