Arrive in Osaka and spend the night as you wish at the luxurious Namba Washington Plaza Hotel. Day: 3 3/19/09 Kansai Freedom! Osaka or Kyoto? You choose! Spend your day shopping the pulsing streets of Osaka in Amerika-Mura, Namba, and Shinsaibashi. Electronics, cutting-edge fashion, AMAZING food, massive arcades, and otaku shopping are all footsteps away! Option- Kyoto! Or, if you'd like to see a more traditional side of Japan, check out Kyoto on one of our 3 optional excursions. Cosplay as samurai and geisha as you wander the streets of the ancient capitol, visit a manga museum and Kyoto tower, or simply go on a half-day sightseeing trip and see the many beautiful temples and shrines throughout the city. Day: 4 3/20/09 Cosplayin' time!! Nippon-bashi Cosplay Festival!! Get your best costume ready, because it's time to take place in the BIGGEST cosplay parade in the world! WOOHOO! Day: 5 3/21/09 Tokyo Time! Shinkansen to Tokyo International Anime Fair. Hop in the train as we take you from the biggest cosplay gathering to the biggest anime gathering at the Tokyo International Anime Fair! Don't forget your wallets, because this is otaku shopping heaven! Day: 6 3/22/09 Free Day 1 Explore Tokyo! Our tour guides would be happy to show you around the hippest areas of Tokyo. (Ryan's speciality is Harajuku and Shibuya. If you want to learn the ins and outs of Ura-Hara and Japanese street fashion, tag along!) Day: 7 3/23/09 Free Day 2 More exploration.
