We depart Los Angeles for Tokyo!

We arrive! Relax after checking in to your hotel room, explore, or join us for a trip to Tokyo Tower!

In the morning, we'll make a stop at the otaku capital of the world, Akihabara, for a look around before proceeding to the first manga lesson of the trip. Afterwards, we'll head to the bright lights of Shibuya and Shinjuku, where Japan's best art stores offer all the art supplies you'll need at reasonable prices. In the evening, if you're feeling adventurous, take a trip to the Roppongi Kingyo Drag show!

We start our day in the fashion-forward land of Harajuku before visiting Nakano Broadway, where you can find Japan's best selection of classic, old school manga and character goods.

After a stop on Otome Road in Ikebukuro, we venture to Mitaka, where we'll visit a local art or animation studio. Mitaka is also where we'll visit the Ghibli Museum, a massive museum dedicated to the work of the famed animation studio.

We'll start the day with an official tour of the Imperial Palace, where you can take in picturesque views before creating some beauty of your own at your second lesson! After that, we'll be meeting with a special guest artist (to be announced ^-~) before heading out for a special dinner at a cosplay-themed restaurant.
