"I had a wonderful time from beginning to end... What makes PJT so special and different than other 'otaku' type tours is the rare and personal access to anime and manga professionals, and to have the opportunity to participate in an event... instead of just being an observer.
"I'm normally an independent traveler - but it was a welcome relief to not have to stress about decoding train schedules, making museum reservations or worrying about where the hotel is.
"I'd gladly do this again and would highly recommend the experience to anyone who loves Japanese pop culture - it was worth every penny, and it made me love being in Japan even more than before, if that's at all possible."

"PJT feels more like hanging with friends in Japan rather than a guided tour. It's a fun, fast-paced, cultural experience that is worth more than the asking price. If you're into Japan even the slightest bit, you have to go... Considering all the shopping, train rides, cultural experiences, hotel stays and cities visited, this deal is too sweet to pass up."
-Edgar T.
"A perfect balance of historical Japan and the pop culture of today: sightseeing and shopping, with the experiences that all visitors to Japan want to do plus unique experiences that aren't possible anywhere else."
-Peter Durham
"Great way to relax and see Japan... I really enjoyed being part of a group, and chatting with people about the experiences we were having... fun to be with a bunch of geeks - the karaoke moments of a room full of people singing anime theme songs in Japanese, even though most of them couldn't read the subtitles, and chatting in restaurants about favorite books, and so on.
"We had 3 adults, a teen and a tween in our family group, and the tour met all of our needs well, and was thoroughly enjoyed by every one of us.
"Totally immersive - I haven't thought about work for the past 9 days!"

"The tour was great! ... I was shocked to see ["Princess Mononoke" art director] Yamamoto-sensei waiting for us at the bus stop. I thought he was unbelievably kind. I also enjoyed watching fireworks, visiting shrines, going to Nijo Castle, and so many other places that I've never even dreamed about. When we went to [dojinshi market] Comitia, inspiration hit me in the head like a baseball... Ben-san and Matsumoto-san were kind and helpful guides that worked hard to make sure everyone was okay. I can't wait to go back to Japan... with Ben and Masa plus others."
